We suffer on earth and stand a great chance of suffering for eternity in hell, so why did GOD create us? Was it for HIS amusement? Does HE like to see us suffer? GOD created us to be with HIM and to live in paradise forever. This was HIS plan when HE created Adam, then Eve. They used to walk with HIM in the Garden of Eden. Imagine what a paradise it was with abundance and beauty and being able to enjoy fellowship with GOD face to face.

HE created us in HIS image, which means HE created us with the ability to choose of our own free will. HE created us as our FATHER and we HIS children. Consider the joy of having children and you can understand why GOD created us. HE created us so HE could love us but we rejected that love and chose sin. Even though we rebelled against HIM, HE still wants us to be with HIM and to love us for eternity. That's why HE sacrificed HIMSELF through Jesus Christ. GOD suffered so that we could be reconciled. That in itself, shows just how much HE loves us and should dispel any doubts or negative thoughts about why HE created us. GOD is not a being who desires to punish us. Ezekiel 33:11 "As I live, saith the LORD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live..." Also in 2 Peter 3:9 "The LORD is  not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." GOD takes no delight in our failure and HE has shown this through the death and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So why is there even a hell you might ask? Hell wasn't created for us, it was created for satan and his demons but since heaven can't allow sin to enter without repentance through the belief in Jesus, there is only one other place to go. If you really think about it, GOD has made it exceedingly easy for us to be with HIM and avoid the consequences of sin. We are forgiven, no matter what, if only we accept HIM through Jesus. Once we do that, we fulfill GOD's plan for us, which to enjoy everlasting life and fellowship with HIM in blissful paradise. We will, again, be afforded entry into the Garden of Eden and will walk along side our CREATOR.
