Science was the reason behind my faith being devoured and trampled underfoot as Jesus described in the parable of the sower. Like many, I only believed what could be scientifically proven. What changed my mind was the widely accepted Big Bang theory on how our universe was created. The theory states that the entire universe was a super occurrence that happened within a fraction of a second and all that the universe contains came from a particle smaller than an atom. Suddenly this tiny particle erupted and expanded immediately into the vast collection of galaxies, solar systems, planets, moons, asteroids, etc. that we now know exists in the cosmos. After pondering this theory, this mega explosion of life sounds far more like an act of GOD than any mathematical equation can justify.

Even when digesting the theory of evolution, I see GOD's work. I believe plants and animals adapt to changing environments but I'm unconvinced that we evolved from apes. I still question why there are still apes alongside humans now and why I don't wear gloves on my feet. The best answer science provides is called "the missing link". That answer gets an incomplete in my opinion.

In many cases science has provided partial answers but when I've looked further than the collective hypothesis, I find GOD as the cause. Science versus GOD, in my opinion, is an argument that shouldn't even exist. Physical cannot be argued with spiritual. There is no mathematical equation that can explain good and evil and they are both battling forces that are just as evident around us as oxygen or hydrogen. Science has provided us with many answers and wonderful advancements but I chose to not allow the physicality of science to devour my responsibility to spiritual faith.
