Ephesians 6:16

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 

There is no doubt that the forces of evil have been at work on us from the time of our birth. We are under a constant barrage from all sides with the fiery darts of doubt, temptation and sin. Our enemy is relentless and assult never ceases but GOD has provided us with armor to protect us. That armor is the iron strngth of faith. Our shields of faith are forged and strengthened through prayer. Whenever we feel any of satan's fiery darts beginning pierce our armor, we can immediately fortify it through prayer. The more we talk to GOD, the stronger our armor of faith becomes.

Doubt is a powerful weapon used by our adversary. We pray to GOD to grant certain things that are often not in our best interest in the big picture. Our prayers are always answered but often not with the answer we want. When we feel like GOD is forsaking us, we begin to doubt. Satan sees this chink in our armor and the assault increases. Know that GOD is doing what's best for us and don't doubt HIM, even when we feel like our prayers are falling on deaf ears. Lift your shield of faith and deflect all doubt because GOD is here and with us.
