I mentioned earlier that I am an American living in China and how touched I was when visiting a church on Christmas eve. The sheer joy of the masses of worshippers in attendance inspired such a feeling of exaltation that it brought tears to my eyes.

It was a joy to see their faces and witness the pure belief they all exuded. Being the only foreigner in attendance, they quickly made it clear to me that there was no race or nationality boundaries but welcomed me as a brother in Christ. So many in the Western world are turning to atheism, claiming GOD is dead. Incumbent politicians in the U.S. are trying to eradicate Christ from schools and public places, even going so far as to outlaw the Bible. While this is going on in the U.S., the Christian population in China is growing exponentially and is expected to reach 400 million believers within the next few years, making it the world's largest Christian population. There will be more Christians in China then there are people in America.

On that Christmas Eve, the message from the pastor was simple and powerful, "Jesus loves you!" and the fellowship in attendance were ecstatic with the good news. On that Christmas Eve, in China, I witnessed that GOD is not dead but is increasing HIS flock by the millions and I was so inspired that I shed tears of joy.
