Genesis 45:4-5

 

4 So Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” And they came near. And he said, “I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt 

5 And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life."

 

Joseph is one of my favorite people in history. After being treated so cruelly by his own brothers, he chooses to forgive and forget. Joseph had the heart and wisdom to understand that any circumstance or prdeicament is the will of GOD the FATHER and it all happens according to HIS master plan.

 

Joseph's story serves as a great inspiration to us all. When we suffer indignation and cruelty at the hands of others, these acts are not just random but are put forth according to GOD's will and meant to help us grow in spirit. Forgive with a kind heart and know that GOD has a plan for us. When we act according to HIS plan, great blessing will surely come our way.
