We are all born with talents given to us by GOD. 2 Timothy 1:6 says, "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift  of GOD which is in you through the laying on of my hand." Becoming a man who follows GOD and commits to doing HIS work doesn't always mean one has to become a preacher or minister. GOD has provided us all with the necessary tools to serve HIM in our own way. Some may be good with numbers, while others may have a knack for trading or, in the case of Michelangelo, be talented in painting. Michelangelo served the LORD by creating some of the most moving frescos on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The point is, he used his talent to glorify GOD.

Our FATHER in heaven gives us these gifts but its up to us to first discover and cultivate them, then to use them for HIS glory and for good. Some may think that they don't really have any special gifts but they haven't really searched inside for them. Look at Helen Keller. She was born blind, deaf and dumb but went on to write one of the most stirring and heartfelt books of all time.

It all brings us back to GOD's master plan where each of us has a place. Its up to us to seek HIS guidance to find that place where we can best play our roles in HIS plan. HE has scripted the whole plan for our good and to allow us to receive HIM for our everlasting joy. The doctor, lawyer, garbage collector, fireman and even the beggar all fits in to a plan where the ultimate outcome is our eternal life in HIM.

We must guard what the gift that GOD gives us to ensure we don't use it to counter HIS intended plan. We must utilize our gifts in the journey to the end of GOD's purpose. GOD has granted gifts, talents, authority, powers to us all and for that, we must eternally thank HIM.
