Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

Once the faith picture has been instilled in your mind, it will begin to affect your heart. Increased faith in GOD leads to an increased understanding of what HE wants from us, as well as what HE wants for us, which is reconciliation. GOD wants nothing more than for us to be happy. Truly happy on the inside, not just momentarily satisfied by material possessions. By knowing this, our prayers will start taking on new requests from our FATHER. When we understand what glory GOD has in store for us, then wishing for a new car pales in significance. Our desires go from pleasing ourselves to pleasing GOD and we pray for what pleases GOD, we will receive our wishes.

So the final exercise in my daily faith building routine is to expect change to happen. Afterall, it takes a heart of anticipation and expectation for faith to be fully released. Expectation is the confirmation of faith. It means that we know in our hearts that GOD will answer our prayers and thats what faith is all about.

To quote Charles Swindoll, "Faith is like a muscle.... it must be exercised.  Faith is like a sunrise…. it is fresh every morning." Everyday we are gifted the opportunity to exercise and increase our faith. We cna make it stronger than yesterday and plan on making it even stronger tomorrow but it starts with today. Each day is a new day to stride further in our walk of faith. I'm enjoying the journey. Like the Psalmist expressed, "This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalms 118:24
