Romans 13:8-10, "Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."

Paul make a bold statement here by saying that love circumvents the law laid down by GOD to Moses but his words were actually the lessons Jesus was teaching when He was here. Through Christ's death and blood, we have been spared the cost of our sins, which is death. Surely we die when we sin but GOD temporarily accepted the death and blood of animals through sacrifice as a reprieve. The sacrifices of the Old Testament were meant to buy time till Jesus came. From that point on, we no longer were required to gain temporary pardons for sins as we now have Christ's blood as payment for our sins. And when He comes again, all our brothers and sisters who have gone to sleep with their fathers before Jesus' first coming, will awake and be afforded the opportunity to accept Him as final payment for sins and to gain an access all areas backstage pass into heaven.

But does Paul actually say that GOD's law and the ten commandments are actually void? The answer is no. We must still strive to obey GOD's law but now we know that when we stray at time, and we all will, we can be immediately forgiven through Christ and repentance. What Paul is actually saying is that love, GOD's chief characteristic, governs HIS law.  All of GOD's laws have love as the root. Paul's point is that if we are driven by love, we adopt GOD's nature and that makes us less prone to violate GOD's law. He lists a few commandments, such as murder, stealing, adultery and covetousness and if we are governed by love, we won't break these commandments. If we love someone, we certainly wouldn't steal from or kill them. Love does not circumvent the law, it enforces it.
