I used to be like many out there who only believe what they see. If I couldn't see GOD, how could I truly believe in HIM? This was before my eyes were opened and I began to see GOD in so many things around me. As Jesus said, "Let those with eyes see." But did GOD ever appear in HIS true form to anyone? The Bible says that Moses spoke with HIM face to face but Moses covered his eyes as GOD also said that to see HIM would be too much for men and we would die.



I think what GOD meant by this is that we are imperfect beings and GOD is perfect . We would not be able to comprehend such perfection and would most likely perish or go mad at the sight of it. We are limited to what we know and are accustomed to. GOD is so immense and shining that it would be like a sensory overload to actually gaze upon HIM. Once we transcend into spirit, then we won't have physical eyes to burn out or eardrums to split so seeing GOD face to face will not only be possible but will be absolutely glorious.

GOD has appeared to us in different forms that we could bear, such as the burning bush or the cloud and pillar of fire over the Tent of Meeting but these were merely manifestations created by GOD and not GOD directly. As I said, GOD is too great for mortals to understand so HE sent HIS only Son in human form so that we may better understand HIS way. Jesus showed us how to live to be in sinc with GOD and imagine what the world would be like if we all followed suit?
