The Bible is my main source of inspiration but in my quest to know GOD better, I have happened upon many inspirational quotes and writings by modern personalities. I've picked out three of my favorites to share just for fun. 



"A baby is GOD's opinion that life should go on." Carl Sandburg. I love this quote being a relatively recent father. The Bible says that children are our reward here on earth and I couldn't agree more.  I have to admit that when my daughter was born, I didn't have that delivery room revelation that many speak of but as she grows and develops, I find myself feeling more and more joy. There's no feeling to describe what it feels like when she looks at me and says "I love you daddy." I thank the LORD my GOD everyday for this blessing.



"GOD gives every bird its food but HE doesn't throw it into its nest." J. G. Holland. This quote is a wise reminder that we, as Christians, cannot become complacent in our faith. Once we accept Jesus as our savior, it is not the end but the beginning of a lifelong quest to increase our relationship with Him. We cannot say, "I accept.: then forget about it. We must seek to increase our works and to strive to be better according to GOD's will. 



"All GOD requires is us is the opportunity to  show us what HE can do."  A. B. Simpson. What a great quote this is. GOD, throughout history, has rescued us from ourselves continuously . My relationship with my wife was getting a bit strained recently , so repairing our relationship was one of the many things I asked from GOD in my prayers. Believe it or not, suddenly my wife seems more patient and in a better mood. GOD came through subtly  and now our relationship is great. I ask for many things in my prayers and I confess, some are totally selfish but GOD took the opportunity to show me what HE can do in a matter that is truly important. HE really shows us what HE is willing to do when HE sent Jesus to die for our sins.
