Since the very first man GOD created, mankind has shown that we have a propensity to commit sins. Sin is an act, a thought or behavior that goes against the teachings of GOD. To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever lived his life completely sin free, aside from Jesus when he came to earth as a mortal man. I'm sure that some have come very close, even living their entire lives keeping to the ten commandments but sin is also in thoughts. I strive to live my life free of sinful acts and behavior but I find it very difficult to completely eradicate sinful thoughts, especially with all the temptations in the world today.

GOD has made his laws clear when he gave Moses the commandments and HIS teachings are dispersed throughout the Old Testament. These lessons were GOD's way of trying to get our distant ancestors to reconcile with him prior to coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. When Jesus came, he ammended many of the requirements for reconciliation, such as burnt offerings and dealings with one another, yet we still sin even after He made forgiveness so easy.

Sin is a result of our own choosing, especially when we sin intentionally. Unintentional sin is a result of carelessness and not dedicating enough thought to GOD and Jesus Christ in our daily lives. They are both the result of satan, who exists and deceives us every minute of every day. Our duty as Christians is to resist these temptations for the prince of the power of air and keep GOD and Jesus in the front of our thoughts at all times.

As I stated earlier, I have broken nine out of ten commandments in the past. Some willingly and some unintentionally. Since rediscovering GOD through Christ, I am attempting to eradicate sin, especially in thought, by placing Jesus in the foreground of my mind at all times. It's not easy but it's my duty.
