1 John 5:19

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

 

GOD gave Adam and Eve everything including the gift of free will so that they would, by their own means, understand the glory and generosity of our MAKER and abide in HIS love. But that free will caused a rebellion and they chose to listen to satan's lies over GOD's truth. So, GOD, the father and teacher, cast them out and decided the best way for them and mankind to learn the folly of following the evil one, is to condemn them, us, to live in a world ruled by the devil.

 

In the millennia that has passed sine then, which is a blink of an eye to GOD, we have lived with deceit, war, death, hardship, hate and all things that are of satan. Everywhere we look, we see destruction and misery. We know that GOD is love but this world, controlled by the evil one, is so full of hate.

 

In spite of all the hate and destuction, we are all GOD's children and HE is so saddened by our desires and so wants us to return to HIM, that HE sent Jesus for our salvation. Most people have descended inot the belief that this world is all there is and they must get what they can while here. The truth is, this world is fleeting and is a lie but it is also the testing ground where we must choose either the lie or the truth that is Jesus Christ. By choosing wisely, we can retrun to the life GOD meant for us and that life is infinitely better than what we think is the good life in this world.
