Although transforming ourselves into selfless Christians is a daily challenge that takes much effort, the "how to" is spelled out for us as plain as day in the Bible. Mankind has been on a steady decline in the eyes of the LORD ever since the original sin caused "the fall". Our society has been falling and from what I can see, is continuing to fall at an increasing rate as time goes by.



Man, without GOD, will follow his own advice, make his own plans and rules. This is a dangerous path as we were created to be joined in fellowship with our heavenly FATHER. For this reason, when we try to go it alone, we are never satisfied. Even those with all the earthly wealth but have no relationship with the FATHER, often feel empty and alone. That's why we have sayings like "Money can't buy everything." The only people I have met who truly seem at peace are strong practicing Christians. I am starting to find more contentment day by day as my faith grows.

As I stated above, the road to changing oneself to become acceptable in the eyes of GOD is a difficult one but GOD "so loves us, HE sacrificed HIS only Son..." How to be saved and to find some peace within ourselves while we spend our short time on earth is mapped out clearly in the Bible. Just as one man's sin started our decline, one man's death provides our path to reconciliation. To find that path, you only have to believe and accept the truth with all your heart. Once you do that; your conscience will begin to change you and cause you to put every effort towards becoming right in the eyes of GOD. The other pieces, such as good works, charity, selflessness, honestly, humility will begin to fall into place and before long I guarantee peace and contentment will start to grow inside you.
