Isaiah 40:6-8

"All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it; surely the people is grass. The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever." 

 

Most fo the things I learned in school have become obsolete. I went to an art college and most of the techniques I learned have been renedered passe' due to the advent of the computer. I studied computer operations back in the 1980's and all of what I learned is no longer relevant as newer technilogoical developments have replaced them. In all honesty, everything will eventually pass on. We will pass away. The only thing that will exist forever is the truth in the Word, the Bible, GOD's Word. 

 

The Truth in the Word has always existed. The difference between right and wrong, good and bad has always been and will always be. We didn't invent it nor is it a product of our society. It is the universal law and it is eternal.

 

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him" (John 1:1-3).

 

By clinging to, studying and living by the Word, we have a chance to possess eternal knowledge that is priceless. All the  oney in the world cannot equal the eternal wisdom in the Word. The Word menifested in Christ and the Truth was released onto us in the flesh.

 

"He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God" (Rev. 19:13).

 

All things will one day perish or be replaced but the Word will endure for eternity and the Word is within our reach. We just have to red the Bible to receive this unbelievable gift.
