God is good. (Psalm 25:8; Psalm 34:8; Mark 10:18)



I think if I were to have to sum up GOD with one word, it would be the word "good". GOD's nature is pure good. All that HE does is good for HE is the origins of goodness. When we are good, its due to some action (s) or deeds that we perform. Are propensity to sin means we are inherently bad but we learn good from GOD. GOD is good and HE didn't have to learn how to be good from anyone.



In this world there is good and evil. No one can deny that fact and knowing this, then there is no other proof needed for the existance of GOD. Many nonbelievers don't realize that without GOD, there is no accountability for our actions. The only thing we would have to worry about is getting away with our bad deeds. I can't believe that this is the case and I choose to believe in and follow the teachings of the Bible. I believe the Bible was in fact authored by GOD HIMSELF through the hand of a few chosen scribes and I seek to know GOD's goodness. As Psalms  119:68 says,  

“You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees” 



GOD supplies us with goodness and it draws us to HIM. The ultimate manifestation of HIS desire of good for us is through HIS sacrificing of Jesus Christ and by our belief in Him, we can bask in goodness for eternity. Our goal should be to reflect the goodness of GOD through our actions towards others in our daily lives.
