1 John 1:3

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Faith, fellowship and prayer are the three key actions in establishing a relationship with GOD and Jesus Christ. Without faith, how can we truly be seeking a relationship with something we don't really believe in. By believing with no ifs, ands or buts, the relationship begins.

Through fellowship, we connect with other believers and it shows our willingness to trust in GOD starting now. Sure there is a promise of eternity but at least for me, that is not whats important. Etnernity starts right now and sharing our faith with others unites us in the body of Christ. Undoubtedly people will ridicule us believers. They say we believe in outdated mythology but that is no reason to hide our faith. Seek the fellowship of likeminded Christians and we show GOD that we are not afraid or ashamed of our faith but unite to strengthen it.

Through prayer, we establish direct communication with GOD through Jesus Christ our Savior. By constantly praying, GOD knows we trust in HIM and that pleases HIM. Constant prayer shows GOD that we are answering HIS call as the elected ones to share in Fellowship with the FATHER and Son.
