2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

(9) The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, (10) and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (11) For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (12) and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

There has never been a time in history where the world has been is such disarray as it is today. We are inundated with information about politics, foreign affairs, psychology, entertainment, social issues, religion and you name it. How much of it can we believe? It's easier than ever now for one to become confused and that leads to quarreling and turning oneself to inward focus. Everyone wants to keep whats theirs and take what belongs to others. The world is in a state of confusion and people have become exceedingly selfish. It would seem like satan has done a good job of preparing the way for the lawless one.

Only GOD knows when he will come but it does seem like the time is ripe. There fasle doctrines and even the church is changing what is written in the Bible in order gain popularity. The fact is, there is only one truth and it cannot be altered. By remaining steadfast in our love of the truth, we can endure these wicked times and rejoice if Jesus comes in our lifetime.
