Although the Bible is full of GOD's law and priceless lessons on living a righteous life, it is in no way a boring text or self help book. There has never been a book more full of amazing stories! How can it not be amazing? It's full of stories about GOD who can do anything.

From the very fist book of the Bible, Genesis, we learn about antediluvian civilization, when nephilim, which were angel/ human hybrid giants, still inhabited the earth. We come to know the history of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph who delivered his brothers and father into the land of Gothem with the Pharaoh of Egypt's blessing. For me, the story of Joseph is a wonderful and inspiring lesson in forgiveness and love. After his brothers sold him into slavery, he rose to power by GOD's grace and when presented with the opportunity to get even with his siblings, he chose to forgive them instead. I believe that ninety-nine percent of people today would relish in the chance to make those who have wronged them miserable. Joseph was able to look beyond the evil deed that his brothers exacted on him and see GOD's plan behind it, thus forgiving them.

The very next book of the Bible tells the amazing recount of Moses and his plight. How he was approached by GOD to lead his people out of slavery in Egypt and how GOD orchestrated their flight by defending them with miracle after miracle.

Samson and Delilah, Noah's Ark, David and Goliath, Daniel and the lion's den- there are so many wonderful and amazing tales of GOD's power and love but the greatest story ever told (as the movie states), is the story of when Jesus Christ came to earth and restored our relationship with the Almighty. Even if you are not a Christian, the Bible is the most amazing book you'll ever read. For us Christian's, its our history, manual and creed all in one and we cherish it.
