As if the fact that GOD is eternal is not mind boggling enough, the next fact is that HE is infinite. God is infinite. (1 Kings 8:22-27; Jeremiah 23:24; Psalm 102:25-27; Revelation 22:13). 



As much as GOD being eternal challenges our concept of time, HIS being infinite requires us to stretch our idea of space. GOD has no boundaries or confines. HE is more vast than anything we can imagine. Everything we know of is contained at some point. Even the universe has it's outer reaches but GOD is everywhere and HE doesn't end. This doesn't mean GOD is a huge being, it means that HE has no limits. GOD created everything and nothing can be greater than its creator.



By no limts, I mean HE can do anything. HE created the whole universe and all thats in it in seven days. HE is not limited by size for nothing is too great or too small for HIM. Thats why HE can wipe us out with one great flood while still knowing every minute thought we have in each of our individual hearts. HE designed the movement of galaxies and also constructed each grain of sand. HID power is infinite, no limit.



Although GOD has no limts and HIS might is infinite, HE places limits on HIMSELF. One of those limits is HE cannot lie. The eternal, infinite and all-mighty GOD has made a promise to us and HE cannot lie...lucky for us.
