Job 23:10

But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.

Job endured much suffering when being put to ultimate tests by GOD. He was stripped of all that he possessed. His entire family was killed, his possessions taken away and suffered excruciating physical pain and humiliation but his faith endured. Once he had proved his faith to be unwaivering, GID restored his good fortune and then some.

Most likeley none of us will ever be tested as Job was but we do face our own tribulations every day. There is no such thing as bad or good luck but only blessings and trials bestowed on us by our LORD. The trials we face are GOD's way of refining our spirits. As Job states in verse 23:10, "I shall come out as gold." Job understood that his misfortune was by GOD's hand so he set himself to enduring with faith, trusting in GOD that there was a divine purpose for his suffering.

There's much we can learn from Job. When we face our own roadblocks and tests, we have to always approach them as GOD's way of refining our spirits and embrace them as learning experiences and if we do, we shall come out as gold.
