Does Jesus intervene with our daily lives? Many times things happen and we have no way to explain them except by divine intervention but the term is often used very lightly or even in jest. The fact is, Jesus intervenes with our lives at every turn. When we accept this fact, then we are enabled to recognize it.

Many people have hardened their hearts in this fallen world we live in today. Because they are unwilling to open their eyes and see the truth, they tend to use rationale when it comes to acts of divine intervention. Our human nature causes us to naturally try to exalt ourselves and in the act of doing so, we rationalize all events. When we encounter a near death experience, for instance, we will tend to attribute our survival to reflexes, adrenaline or even luck perhaps. If you really ponder it, luck is a far more difficult concept than GOD. To think that everything that happens in the universe is random seems so much more far fetched than believing in Jesus.

Many pray for GOD to inetervene in their lives as if HE were some sort of genie or fairy godmother and that will almost certainly result in disappointment, heartbreak and broken dreams. Sadly, we live in a fallen world as I've said above. A world where sin abounds, people hurt each other, bodies age and break down and things often don't go according to plan. It's unfair to blame GOD for our world as it is the result of our own iniquities. GOD keeps placing platforms for us to catapult ourselves out of this sinful world, the ultimate being Jesus Christ and its up to us to accept HIS intervention.

It's simple really. GOD and Jesus intervene in our lives every day but not in the way we would want. We are selfish and want things the easy way but GOD works in mysterious ways. Our prayers do get answered but never in the "easy" way we would want. If we have faith, though, divine intervention becomes clearer and easier to see.
