Matthew 13: 34- 35

34 All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. 35 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Jesus taught in parables and fulfilled the propheciy of Isaiah. The reason for the parables was so that we should truly reflect on His word and understand the true meaning. In the same sense, those who are unwilling to believe or have faith, the meaning remains hidden.

God has written His Word and designed gospel preaching to conceal the truth from the unregenerate and to reveal it to His saints (I Cor 1:22-24).

It is important for us to so want to understand HIS word, that we study and ponder each parable over and over. When we do, each time we reflect another ;ayer of truth is revealed. The truth in the parables is often so simple but profound. In Matthew 13:35, Jesus says that they hold secrets that have been hidden since the foundation of the world. History teaches us that before Chrit's coming, the world was a violent place with each nation seeking to conquer their neighbors. Jesus revealed our true calling, which is to seek GOD through faith and love of our FATHER, Christ Himself, demonstrated by our love and tolerance for each other. The world today shows us just how many chose to ignore the truth but through the church, we are many who see with our eyes and hear with our ears.
