2 Corinthians 4:13 But since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak….
Communication is such an important part of being a Christian. The Bible often refers to the dead as those who cannot speak or hear (2 Kings 4:31). Its obvious that GOD wants us to share with one another and that leads me to the second of my faith exercises. I believe we should share our faith in our expectation of GOD with other believers. The more we communicate our faith, the stronger it becomes.
We humans are constantly looking for support from our peers and although our ultimate faith is in GID and Christ, it doesn't hurt to have continuous support here on the ground. Jesus, in His Great Commission before He ascended to heaven, commands His disciples to spread His word. In essence He commands them to communicate and create fellowship. Notice that, unlike other religions, He commands them to "tell" others about the Gospel but makes no mention of converting them. That is a decision GOD wants us to arrive at on our own.
By sharing our faith and expectations with others, the picture becomes clearer in our minds and hearts.
Philemon 1:6 that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
