God is true and truth. (Psalm 31:5; John 14:6; John 17:3; Titus 1:1-2)



GOD is perfect. HE is holy and HE has placed a limitation on HIMSELF where HE cannot lie. GOD knows everything and with that unlimited knowledge, HE knows that it is better to be righteous, holy and truthful than to be evil, self serving and deceptive. Since GOD has made it impossible for HIMSELF to lie, we know that everything HE tells us is the absolute truth.



Honesty is a virtue that we all struggle with today and I'm one of the worst offenders. I've lied to cover my actions, to gain things and to self promote. Lies happen all around us from the top down. Our governments are full of lies and a day doesn't go by where we are not bombarded with on line swindles or junk mail. Lying has become the standard of our society and it is safer now to be suspicious of everything at first until it can be investigated and approved. We live in a time of deception where the prince of the power of air hold sway over us.



Even though we are in evil times, we need not despair for we have truth on our side if we choose HIM. John 8:31b-32 "If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."



As the Psalm says, "Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil for YOY are with me...". GOD has promised to protect us through Jesus Christ and GOD is truth, HE cannot lie.
