Joshua 1:8 "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

 

We have the ultimate tool to aid us in our daily walk of faith, the Bible, which is GOD's own words. Within the pages of the Holy Book, we can find the answers to all our questions. Mind you, the answers don't jump out at you but one has to study and meditate on the contents of the Bible. When we do, the truth and meanings of the words take shape and all the wisdom and lessons begin to crystalize.

 

I can't tell you how imprtant my daily Bible readings have been in my journey to a greater faith and spiritual lifestyle. It is the word of GOD and it establishes our faith if we study it properly and stand by HIS word. The Bible is written for people like you and me who faced the same daily conflicts as we do. If we turn to It's pages for answers and wisdom, we surley find it.

 

Jashua 1:8 claims that if we walk according to the law established in the Bible, then we will prosper and have "good success". This doesn't mean that if we live by the rules of the Bible, we can become rich. I believe that his meaning is that, if we establish a lifestyle that is upright and selfless, we can find peace of mind. When we start to recognize the spiritual side of ourselves, which has been hidden from us due to modern society, we start to understand that true success is not counted by numbers but by peace and contentment.
