Matthew 21:28-31

(28) "What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work today in the vineyard.' (29) " 'I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. (30) "Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will, sir,' but he did not go. (31) "Which of the two did what his father wanted?"

Jesus is saying that GOD smiles on the repentant sinner more than on the complacent proclaimer. More people may listen to the respected holy man but if he doesn't perform the deeds that he preahces about, then he is not worthy of the respect. A sinner who realizes, confesses and repents from his sins and excepts Christ as the one true Son of GOD becomes reconcilable with our MAKER. The one who cries out in GOD's name but harbors doubt in his heart is no better than a ballloon filled with hot air. To have a voice that people hear is a blessing but first, one must believe what he preaches for his voice to be considered GOD given.
